Melissa McCarthy once again showcased her 75-pound weight loss on Instagram last week, dazzling followers in a shimmering, form-fitting knight costume for Halloween. The 54-year-old Bridesmaids star appeared in the video alongside her husband, Ben Falcone, to promote their new podcast, Hildy the Barback and the Lake of Fire.

The Gilmore Girls alum’s get-up was composed of a shimmering armor top, a glittery sequined skirt, fitted tights beneath it, edgy spiked gloves and an intricate headpiece.

As for her glam, the mom of two (who shares daughters Vivian, 17, and Georgette, 14, with Falcone, 51) wore her long brunette tresses down, parted in the center and styled into elegant loose waves. For her makeup look, McCarthy opted for black liner, smokey eyeshadow, sky-high lashes and a touch of rosy blush.

Her husband, Falcone, donned a similar Game of Thrones-esque get-up as the couple playfully galloped around on sticks adorned with plush horse heads. McCarthy captioned the post for her 12.6 million IG followers: “Welcome to the world Hildy the Barback and the Lake of Fire. Wherever you listen to podcasts.” Fans headed to the comments section to share their thoughts.

“Love the outfit,” one fan wrote of McCarthy’s October 25th ensemble as another added: “truly obsessed.” Someone else noted: “What a pair! I love how playful they are. So cute. They must have a lot of laughs together.”

Inside Melissa McCarthy's 75-Lb Weight Loss

McCarthy and Falcone previously graced the set of Live with Kelly and Mark one week earlier to promote their podcast. McCarthy dazzled in a floral orange top accented by a fur stole and a metallic dragon on her shoulder. A stylish black and brown corset highlighted her svelte figure, topped off by a fashionable brown leather maxi skirt.

McCarthy once admitted that she succumbed to fad diets in a bid to lose weight. During the early 2000s, after getting cast on Gilmore Girls, she revealed spending four months on a doctor-monitored all-liquid diet, resulting in a 70-pound weight loss. "I'd never do that again. I felt starved and crazy half the time," she noted, as per Hello!

The Little Mermaid alum added that she gained 25 lbs after she "stopped walking" daily and "ate [expletive] food." In an interview with Us Weekly, the she explained: "I've been every size in the world." McCarthy went on: "Parts of my twenties, I was in great shape, but I didn't appreciate it. If I was a six or an eight, I thought, 'Why aren't I a two or a four?’"

In a 2017 discussion with Rolling Stone, she shared that her anxiety over her weight originated in her teenage years. "I thought I battled weight throughout high school, but I look back at pictures of me as a cheerleader, doing sprints, lifting weights, doing gymnastics, playing tennis, and while I wasn't reed-thin like some girls," she told the outlet. She added: "I was a size six the entire time. So, what on earth was I freaking out about?"

Since then, McCarthy has noted that she now has a healthier outlook. "I finally said [to myself], 'Oh for God sakes, stop worrying about it', and it may be the best thing I've ever done," she said during a CBS Mornings appearance. She continued: "I truly stopped worrying about [my weight]. I stopped over-analyzing, over-thinking, over-doing anything."

McCarthy's fans on social media have enthusiastically praised her stylish ensembles for red carpet functions lately, and, of course, her most recent stint on Kelly Ripa and Mark Conseulostalk show. As for what led to her looking so radiant and happy, McCarthy shared: "I just stopped constantly being worried about it and I think there's something to kinda loosening up and not being so nervous and rigid about it that, bizarrely, has worked."
