Monday, September 12th may have been the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, but it was also the date of the highly-anticipated first-of-its-kind Vogue World: New York fashion show, which took place as part of New York Fashion Week to celebrate the publication’s 130th anniversary.

“Fashion is changing and Vogue is doing something special to celebrate it – a fashion show-meets-street fair that captures the creative spirit of our community now,” said Anna Wintour, chief content officer at Condé Nast, and global editorial director at Vogue. “New York is the perfect place for this – a city that is as restless, as dynamic, and as revitalized as fashion is today.” Here, here!

The outdoor event featured some of the fashion bible's favorite Fall 2022 looks from the likes of Balenciaga, Dior, Gucci, Valentino, Burberry, Coach, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch and so many more; and one of the biggest and most standout trends on the runway was the metallic trend, showcased so expertly by some of the highest-paid and most in-demand models in the world, such as Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Irina Shayk, Joan Smalls, and Emily Ratajkowski, among so many others!

Joan Smalls went for a sparkly white top and black skirt combo, while Kendall Jenner went for glitter meets grunge in a Prada ribbed tank layered under a sheer mesh dress and chunky combat boots. Gigi Hadid also went for a two-in-one layered look, wearing baggy jeans and a white tank top underneath a stunning reflective gold, sheer, netted maxi dress.

Gigi's younger sister Bella also walked the runway in a head-turning piece, wearing a crackled silver voluminous A-line metallic dress with an asymmetric hemline, while Irina Shayk looked effortlessly sexy and stylish in a metallic plunging midi with super-racy side cutouts. Newly-single Emily Ratajkowski also blew everyone away with her catwalk outing, as she stunned in a silver lattice midi dress, teamed with a low black belt and some oversized, grungy black boots.

The A-listers weren’t just on the runway, as the audience also featured a lot of high profile guests too, including a Gucci-clad Jared Leto, Kendall's older sister Kourtney Kardashian and her husband Travis Barker, and Doja Cat, to name just a few. Lil Nas X even got up from his seat on the FROW to give a crowd-pleasing performance of "Industry Baby."
