Michelle Obama made a surprising appearance at the opening night of the US Open on August 28th. The former first lady has always been known for her unique style, and she proved that she’s still got it even if she’s not the first lady anymore.
Mrs. Obama came through the entrance in what’s about to be Fall’s biggest clothing staple: Denim. The centerpiece of her denim dress was a mid-length ensemble by Oscar de la Renta, featuring a charming sweetheart neckline and a flattering A-line shape. She elegantly complemented the dress with raffia platform sandals and a cropped navy cardigan.
She also charmingly painted her toes an obvious color for the event which was a vibrant, tennis ball yellow hue. Completing the look, Obama adorned herself with a stack of chic black bracelets and styled her hair in a sporty, side-part ponytail which allowed her pair of bold chunky silver hoops to shine.
