Michelle Pfeiffer Stuns In Her Poster For The New ‘Ant-Man’ Movie
In the new image, Pfeiffer’s character Janet is seen in profile with what looks like two other versions of her character on either side of her. Her gray mane is parted on the side and she’s wearing a pair of gold teardrop earrings. For makeup, Pfeiffer chose a mauve lip and smokey eye shadow that makes her gray eyes pop. Behind her, we get a glimpse of the quantum tunnel glowing blue. We know that a lot of movies in the MCU are color-coded. Some fans are curious about the significance of the blue hue in the Quantum Realm.
Janet was said to be lost in the Quantum Realm before she came back in Ant-Man and the Wasp. Speaking of her character, Pfeiffer said, “The Quantum Realm can change a person, and you can have a whole other life down there. It’s something that she hasn’t wanted to get into.” Janet warned Scott about this before he got lost in the Quantum Realm for five years. And, fans have long theorized that Janet has some kind of connection with Kang, and it seems like from the trailer they were correct.
Kang is the supposed villain of this movie and the next MCU phase. Marvel boss Kevin Feige reveals about the movie, “It’s about how these five family members deal with this environment and the new reality of what their mother/grandmother has been through.”
Besides Pfeiffer, the movie casts Paul Rudd as Ant-Man/Scott Lang, Evangeline Lily as the Wasp/Hope Van Dyne, and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym. There are also new characters introduced in the film including Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang, and Bill Murray as Roi Krylar Corey Stoll who appeared in the first Ant-Man film as the antagonist, Darren Cross (Yellowjacket), returns in a new role as MODOK. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania premieres on February 17.
