Miley Cyrus Shares New 'Doctor (Work It Out)' Single Cover & Fans Accuse Her Of Getting 'Buccal Fat Removal'
The cover places emphasis on the Grammy winner's face as she stands before a blank wall, with her and Williams' names, along with the song title, presented in pink lettering above her. As reported by the U.S. Sun, this new cover image was shared to Reddit soon after it was revealed to the public, and fans began sharing their thoughts there on why Cyrus might have looked "different" in the pic.
In a recent thread, one user commented, according to the outlet: "Can’t tell if it’s the buccal fat removal or the giant veneers that make her look so off these days." Another added: "We need to imprison whatever plastic surgeon pioneered buccal fat removal." Someone else chimed in, writing: "I’m sad that buccal fat removal and veneers are 'in'. I don’t think I’ve seen a single person who looks better afterwards." One other claimed: "She still had her cheeks in 2021, I didn't realize it must've been 2022 when she had it done!"
Cyrus has not responded to these fresh claims and accusations. These "buccal fat removal" and plastic surgery allegations also came to light after her appearance at the 2024 Grammy Awards last month, where she sported a contoured cheek makeup look, which only served to further fuel speculation.
At the event, the "Malibu" singer wore a custom-made Maison Margiela gold mesh mini dress that was instantly memorable. The gown had strategically arranged bits of mesh to preserve her modesty without compromising on its sheer appeal.
Soon after Cyrus graced the ceremony carpet, fans on X (formerly Twitter) began accusing her of undergoing a "buccal fat removal" procedure. "Buccal fat removal did Miley Cyrus so wrong," one tweeted at the time as another added: "Why is everyone so obsessed with looking gaunt?"
Cyrus has yet to respond to these fresh buccal fat removal, veneers and other cosmetic surgery procedure rumors. However, in 2012, the Last Song star dispelled the circulating rumors regarding her usage of lip fillers at the time. On X, she wrote: "Definitely don’t get my lips injected. It’s so sad that people have done so much s–t to their face people don’t believe in natural beauty."
One year before, she also shot down breast augmentation rumors on social media. "Thank you for the compliment but these babies are all mine," she tweeted in 2011, adding: "I wish they’d realize you don’t have to be fake to be beautiful."
In April 2022, Cyrus opened up about her flawless complexion and stunning skin in an interview with ELLE. The Hannah Montana alum discussed her skincare and self-care routines. "I basically have it down to a science these days," she said, while talking about the correlation between skincare and mental health.
"Taking care of yourself from the inside out is so important," she added. "Your beauty routine is a form of self-love because it means you’re taking time out of your day to check in with yourself, mentally and physically."
