Miley Cyrus has been serving major pop-star-turned-rock-star looks every time we see her. Whether it’s a post on Instagram or performing on stage, we can’t help but be reminded of her hit song “We Can’t Stop” because Miley can’t stop, won’t stop wearing sexy, skimpy looks. But when we saw her wearing THIS romper on stage, we were bracing ourselves for a major wardrobe malfunction!
Miley took the stage to perform at Austin City Limits Music Festival, an annual music festival held in Austin, Texas in early October. Miley, of course, didn’t miss the opportunity to wear her rocker style to the fullest—with this red sparkly romper, a western style belt, and her trademark mullet hair pulled up in an updo. Miley is giving us Dolly Parton vibes, which makes sense since the country icon is the star’s godmother. But Miley definitely turned things up a notch, because this romper is not only SO short, but also very low-cut.

Miley expressed her excitement and gratitude in a lengthy caption, saying: “Wouldn’t be a finale festival show without GLAM & FAM! The Coyne’s made it to soooooo many shows this season! Y’all’s love and loyalty means the [world emoji].” Her post got over 1.1m likes from her 150m followers and fans were living for Miley’s daring look, with countless fire emojis in the comments. Celebs have definitely been loving onesies, including rompers like Miley’s and sheer, lace, and lace-up bodysuits like Dua Lipa‘s and Bella Hadid‘s.
Last month, Miley opened up to Vogue about another one of her stage looks, and her vision behind her rocker style. She said, “I wanted to serve “Princess of Punk” but bring the electricity of glam rock… My concept for the hair was “Marilyn Mon-Mohawk” to honor Hollywood glamour and one of the most iconic pop culture pioneers.”

The blonde beauty recently also left little very little to the imagination on her cover and photoshoot for Interview Magazine that took place at her farm in Nashville. Miley showed love and support for the Free the Nipple campaign with her super skimpy outfits and shared her excitement about performing on stage again.
She shared: “It brings back that tingle of fear, or maybe anxiety, which I haven’t felt in a while…But it reminded me, again, of how all of that’s erased when you perform.”
