Mini skirts are classic items that will never truly go out of style— and were especially all the rage at Fashion Week events this season. High-slit bottom pieces are undeniably trendy among our favorite celebrities as well, from detailing their red carpet gowns to photoshoot looks. Ultimately, combining the two this month—donning a high-slit mini skirt— was an effective style choice that everyone from Vanessa Hudgens to Emma Stone to Elsa Hosk recently pulled off, and we’re eager to take a closer look at how each A-lister rocked the trend in ways all their own!

Elsa Hosk

We first spotted a chic mini skirt with an epic slit on Swedish supermodel Elsa Hosk, 33, who drew all eyes to a micro garment and her toned legs. Earlier this month, Hosk arrived at a Revolve event in Los Angeles and was later spotted grabbing dinner in West Hollywood and her outfit garnered instant praise from fans who rushed to document each piece she wore. Hosk paired a black mini skirt with a subtle, sultry slit from Miaou with the bright ‘Tango’ red ‘Leema’ blouse from French brand Equipment, which she left unbuttoned with a white shirt underneath. She added chunky, black, heeled ‘Intrico’ platform Prada loafers to complete her look and her extra special Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama Monogram Vernis Polka Dot Bag was a notable accessory. All in all, this classic, effortless French-girl-esque way to wear a slit mini skirt is easy to recreate and as inspiring as ever for spring fits.

Vanessa Hudgens

Ever since her 70s, grungy and boho ensembles first went viral on Tumblr, Vanessa Hudgens has been a style icon for many gals out there, and she continues to solidify her trendsetter status with her Fashion Week style choices this season. The tick…tick…BOOM! star, 33 attended the Giambattista Valli show on March 7th in Paris and modeled look 46 from their Spring 2022 ready-to-wear-collection— a stunning ensemble composed of a red (high-slit of course) mini-skirt and tank-like top with a frontal midriff cut-out. The slit helped show off her long, glowing legs as well as her shoe choice, matching red open-toe heeled sandals. The actress mixed both modern and vintage jewelry to complete her look and paired red-and-white garments for an overall romantic, layered and sexy look for spring. She grabbed the brand’s ‘Mini Floflo Bag’ in Black Embossed Leather  to top it all off, and wowed us with her entire get-up, as per usual.

Emma Stone

As a Louis Vuitton ambassador, Emma Stone paid homage to the brand by gracing their Paris fashion show last month and rocked a head-to-toe LV look with a mini skirt that we’ll never forget. Stone, 33, gave birth to her first child last March and has kept a low profile since then, with her last major outing being the premiere of her film Cruella in May 2021. For her stylish return to the public eye, Stone donned a black, logo-adorned, belted mini skirt with a high slit that revealed another black piece underneath it. She paired her skirt with a cropped matching jacket and posed for photos with fellow redheaded actress Julianne Moore, 61 (who also looked effortlessly cool in her own monochromatic fit!) Stone completed her look with knee-high black boots and a a black quilted handbag from the brand. Ultimately, all three celebs show us different well-dressed ways to wear a high-slit mini skirt and one thing is for sure, this trend will be everywhere this spring, and for good reason. Tré chic!
