Miranda Lambert Writes 'Autobiographical' Music For Her New Album
Postcards from Texas, Miranda's latest album, released on September 13th, and during an interview about the new music, she admitted that the songs are in fact about her own life, calling them "autobiographical."
"I signed up to tell the truth...And I just feel like it's important to—good, bad, and ugly—tell your story," she said to In Touch Weekly. Despite having thrown shade at her ex-husband in the past, sources close to Miranda are reporting that "she no longer lays all the blame at Blake's feet." This might explain some of the new lyrics in her songs.
"Oh this freedom I found, babe, sure wasn't free," she croons on the track, "Run." "I owe you a lifetime of apologies / I'm tellin' the truth now / I love you so much / I'm sorry for lyin' about who I was."
