Keke Palmer just hosted the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards, a series of pre-recorded performances and acceptance speeches, many shot from various locations around NYC including the Empire State Building and Edge Hudson Yards.
The show featured performances from Miley Cyrus, The Weeknd and BTS–but it’s the stunning red carpet outfits we can’t stop talking about. Perhaps it’s because we’ve been so deprived of red carpet fashion since the coronavirus outbreak, but these stars absolutely killed it in jaw-dropping gowns. The trend was “sheer” for sure. Bella presented the first-ever Tricon Award to Lady Gaga wearing a sheer black bodysuit and matching trousers from Nensi Dojaka.

The Tricon award winner performed her new song “Midnight Sky” wearing a stunning full-length sparkly Mugler gown--that also happened to be completely sheer.

Appearing at the pre-recorded show last night, the “Baby” singer wore a sheer peek-a-boo cutout dress--also from Mugler. (And those sexy sandals are Stuart Weitzman!)
