Rose Water

Rose water is a go-to ingredient for skincare because of its amazing rejuvenating properties. It creates a soothing effect on tired eyes and also works as an amazing skin toner to brighten the skin. To get these amazing benefits, soak a cotton eye pad in rose water for a few minutes and apply it to your closed eyelids. Leave the water on your eyes for 15 minutes and repeat twice a day for a few weeks to see amazing results.

Tea Bags

Tea is amazing for the body, and even better for dark eye circles. It’s filled with caffeine and antioxidants that work to reduce puffiness and discoloration by shrinking the blood vessels. Put two used bags of green tea or black tea in the fridge for half an hour. Then, place one bag over your eye for 10-15 minutes. It’s suggested to do this twice daily, but be careful not to get any tea in your eyes!

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil works wonders on almost everything, so it’s no wonder that it can work to fix your dark eye circles, too. Just massage some extra-virgin coconut oil to your eyes and leave it on for a few hours. It’s suggested to try this before you go to bed and to do it 2-3 times daily.

Lemon Juice

Applying some lemon juice to your eyes could really make a difference. It’s filled with vitamin C, which helps to brighten the skin and remove dark circles. To start, use a cotton ball and apply fresh lemon juice around your eyes. Leave it on for 10 minutes, rinse it off, and repeat once a day. You can also make a brightening paste by mixing one tablespoon of lemon juice, two tablespoons of tomato puree, and a pinch of gram powder and turmeric.

Almond Oil

Lightly massage some almond oil under your eyes and over your eye lid before you go to bed. Leave it on overnight and rinse it off in the morning with cold water to see your eyes looking brighter than ever.

Turmeric Powder

Turmeric has great anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that help to visibly reduce dark circles and even make the skin around your eyes softer and smoother. Mix two teaspoons of turmeric powder with pineapple juice to make a thick paste. Apply this to the skin around your eyes and let it do its thing for about 10 minutes. Wipe away the paste with a soft, damp cloth and do this once a day.
