There are lots of changes happening at Netflix right now! And they’re not all good.

To start, the company is experiencing a high number of cancellations due to controversy over the new film “Cuties.” Additionally, a longtime executive at the company just left. And that’s not to mention the “eyebrow raising” deal they just struck with Harry and Meghan. What is going on??

Market Watch reports that longtime Netflix executive Cindy Holland has left the company. Hall, who was vice president of original content, was with the company for 18 years and has been a key player in the company's growth.

 

Ted Sarandos, Netflix's longtime chief content officer and newly named co-CEO, said they, "wanted to simplify the way our content teams operate." Yikes!

One has to wonder what changes are happening within the organization to drive a key player out!

Additionally, the release of the film "Cuties," has sparked record cancellations in the U.S., Variety reports. An 8x increase on cancellations was reported, with some alleging that the show sexualizes children and the hashtag “#CancelNetflix” was in the top-trending spot on Twitter this week. This can't be good!

In yet another blow, Jerry Hall star of their hit series "Cheer" was just arrested for a federal child pornography charge. Say it ain't so!
