Is there anyone who doesn’t like going to Trader Joe’s? It’s more than just a grocery store – it’s a way of life. There’s so much to love about Trader Joe’s, from its delicious branded foods to its healthy selection. Not to mention the fact that just about everything from Trader Joe’s is very well-priced and affordable. However, you may be paying more than you should for certain kitchen essentials when you buy them from Trader Joe’s.
You should never buy organic milk from Trader Joe’s. This is surprising to most people, because the store’s selection of organic and health-food products is what made it famous. But there is one thing you might not realize is slightly off about Trader Joe’s organic milk: its price.
Many experts have found that the organic milk at Trader Joe’s is very overpriced compared to what you can find at other grocery stores. One source even determined that a gallon of organic milk from Trader Joe’s is at least $2 more expensive than the same amount from stores like Walmart, Aldi’s and even Whole Foods.
Plus, there are many Trader Joe’s shoppers who find that the milk spoils way too quickly. This is probably because the company only pasteurizes their milk once, while competitors pasteurize milk multiple times.
So it turns out that Trader Joe’s milk is not worth the price you pay for it. You can find similar products for much less money elsewhere, and the expensive milk from Trader Joe’s probably won’t last as long as it takes to finish the carton.
