7-Eleven might not be the most glamorous place to get your morning coffee, but, they sure do know how to make a good cup of joe. With so many flavors and varieties available, it's not hard to see why so many people head over to the convenient store every morning. But, health experts say that the chain's coffee isn't the best option for those who are watching their weight, as it's loaded with sugar and fat!

If you prefer 7-Eleven's black coffee, don't worry, you're in the clear! Livestrong says that the chain's black coffee contains about 2 calories per 8-ounce serving. But, the same can't be said for 7-Eleven's flavored coffee brews, which can have up to 140 calories for the same serving size as the black coffee.

Livestrong listed 7-Eleven's mocha iced coffee has the highest calorie coffee beverage, with 140 calories per 8-ounce serving. And, this before you add your sugar and cream to it. "Coffee additives may also increase the calorie count; half-and-half contains about 20 calories per 1/2-ounce packet, and sugar contains 11 calories per 2.8-gram packet, or 16 calories per teaspoon," according to Livestrong

The chain's Cuban Café con Leche also made The Daily Meal's "15 Worst Foods You Can Eat (or Drink) at 7-Eleven" List for being high in sugar. "A 12-ounce drink contains 39 grams of sugar and 300 calories — more than a 12-ounce can of Coca-Cola. This Café con Leche is more dessert than beverage," according to the digital publication.

And, one 7-Eleven coffee drinker said that there's a lot of unexpected sugar in the chain's Exclusive Blend, which is described being "bright and well-balanced with hints of vanilla and a crisp clean finish" by the company. "[I] called and asked if they add anything to the coffee after it's brewed. [The] clerk said they add a sweet syrup," one diabetic customer said, after their blood sugar unexpectedly skyrocketed from drinking the Exclusive Blend.
