There are plenty of places you can go if you're in the mood for a sweet treat. But, none of those other places really compare to Wendy's and their signature Frosty. This soft-served dessert has been a longtime member of the chain's menu and delivers a sweet and satisfying flavor every time. Though a Wendy's Frosty is undoubtedly delicious, they're also loaded with calories, sugar, and fat...

A small Chocolate Frosty from Wendy's has about 340 calories, according to the chain's website. If you decide to size up, you could be looking at 460-580 calories for a medium and large Frosty. The numbers stay the same for the Vanilla Frosty, which was recently added to the menu, except for the large size -- which is 570 calories.

Though a Wendy's Frosty doesn't nearly compare to the calorie count of some of the other fast food desserts out there, Regina Fazzini, RD, says that the treat should be avoided if you're getting it with a full-sized meal. "A Frosty can be a sweet treat on its own, but when you eat it after having a Wendy's burger, soda, and an order of fries, you're adding a lot of calories to your meal. This leads to overeating and exceeding your recommended daily calorie intake really fast," Fazzini tells SHEfinds.
If you can't resist getting a Frosty when you stop by Wendy's, Fazzini recommends ordering a junior-sized one, as it's smaller and contains fewer calories. "The smaller serving size will definitely make a difference," she continues. "Or, you can order a full-sized Frosty and have a smaller meal to even out the calories. Just try to make the Frosty your biggest splurge of the day."
