Justin Bieber Lashes Out At Paparazzi In New Viral Video
Although the "Ghost" singer has had several confrontations with pushy photographers in the past, due to his extreme fame, this is one of the first times in a while that people on social media have seen him address a group of paparazzi so bluntly and aggressively.
The new dad was heading into a Palm Springs coffee shop with friends on Wednesday, April 9th, when he noticed a group of paparazzi trying to take his picture and speak to him. Instead of ignoring them and going about his day, he chose to speak up.
In a video obtained by TMZ, a photographer is heard telling Justin, "good morning," which prompted him to respond, "No, not good morning," while covering his face.
Justin then says, "You already know. Why are you here?" As the 31-year-old approached the photographers, he began chanting that all they want is "money." He waved his hands in their faces and did a 'pay me gesture,' shouting, "money, money, money" repeatedly.
"All you want is money, go!" said the singer as he attempted to block a photographer's iPhone camera.
"Get out of here, bro," he then said while shooing away the paparazzi, who slowly began to back away from him.
"You don't care about people," he continued. "Only money. You don't care about human beings."
Justin then slowly walked into the coffee shop with his group of friends surrounding him as though they were protecting him from further interactions with the photographers.
The video quickly went viral on social media, as it was released not long after rumors started circulating about the state of Justin's physical and mental health, as well as his relationship with his wife.
Fans React To Justin's Confrontation With Paparazzi: 'He's Crashing Out'
The video of the singer getting angry with photographers, which was shared on Instagram, stirred up mixed emotions among many internet users. Some people felt that his reaction "wasn't wrong," and that he had every right to confront them like that.
"He has a valid point," commented one user, with another adding, "Just leave him alone; he is having a difficult time right now."
However, the majority of internet users thought the outburst was "so sad," and indicated that something was going on with the popstar.
"He's crashing out," wrote one Instagram user.
"Justin is giving them exactly what they want," added another.
Other social media users couldn't help but notice that the Canadian vocalist must be "going through something," and expressed concern about his mental health.
"He’s gonna go the Kanye route if he doesn’t get help," wrote a fan on Instagram. "He’s not wrong, but he obviously is ready to snap."
Although Justin has yet to comment on the incident and has returned to posting several daily photos to Instagram, the viral video has struck a nerve with his fanbase, who hope to see fewer incidents like this in the future.
