Liu Jo's court filing states, “Due to Ms. Jenner’s refusal to negotiate in good faith, Liu Jo was forced to find replacement models and restructure its entire Spring/Summer 2021 photoshoot [sic] — at great expense to Liu Jo, due to Ms. Jenner’s refusal to uphold her end of the bargain.”

The filing also mentions that Jenner had offered to reschedule the shoot for October 2020, though she "continued to fail to respond to urgent requests and communications relating to the logistics."

Jenner did end up traveling to Italy in October and participated in a photo shoot for Versace.

Jenner's team does not acknowledge any credibility of Liu Jo's claims. A spokesperson for her model management company The Society Management, told E! News, "This suit is without merit. The Society Management, on behalf of Ms. Kendall Jenner, has continually offered Liu Jo alternative dates and locations to fulfill an agreement that was forced to be delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic."

While $1.8 million seems like a lot of money to most of us - definitely not worth blowing off a photo shoot and a trip to Italy - maybe Kendall Jenner doesn't see it the same way.

According to Forbes, the 25-year-old was the highest-paid model in the world in 2018, with an estimated annual earnings of $22.5 million.

And this isn't the first time Jenner has had to repay money from a mishap with a modeling gig. Last year, she had to pay back $90,000 for promoting the infamous Fyre Fest.
