NFL Commentator Calls Taylor Swift Travis Kelce’s ‘Wife’ As Fans React: ‘It’s Called Manifesting’

Last week, Taylor Swift was attending her Travis Kelce’s NFL game when one of the announcers accidentally called her the tight end’s wife wife! Travis Kelce plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, and the pop star was shown on the jumbotron at one of his most recent games, prompting NFL commentator Tony Romo to comment, “As you see Kelce’s wife, Taylor Swift, in the audience…”

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been romantically linked since July, though there have been no wedding bells just yet. But that doesn’t stop hopefully fans from wishing for a mega-wedding in the near future! Keep reading for more information.

The Kansas City Chiefs took on the Buffalo Bills on Dec. 1oth (sadly, they lost), and Taylor Swift showed up to watch her new beau play. As always, the cameramen quickly spotted the “Love Story” singer, and showed her on the big screen numerous times. Former NFL player turned commentator Tony Romo made mention of this, saying, “As you see, Kelce’s wife, Taylor Swift in the audience…” before quickly correcting himself, saying, “I’m sorry, girlfriend.”

His fellow announcer, Jim Nantz, laughed along with Romo, saying, “Not yet!” But Romo’s slip up has only fueled fans who are wishing for a wedding between the two. Some were even speculating that Travis might propose on Taylor Swift’s 34th birthday on Dec. 13th, but sadly, as far as we know, that didn’t happen.
