After the 2023 Oscars, there was plenty of speculation on social media that actress Nicole Kidman, 55, was “under the influence” and had one too many drinks before the star-studded event. Fans were concerned about her “weird” and “erratic” behavior including awkwardly posing and hiding behind her hair.

Nicole (and Halle Berry!) wowed in her black Armani Privé high-slit dress with rose appliqué at the 2023 Oscars. The Big Little Lies star seemed to be in high spirits on the night—even though her ex Tom Cruise allegedly skipped the award show to avoid seeing her. Some fans even thought that she may have had a couple of drinks before the award show. Twitter users joked about the actress’ “bizarre” state.

Nicole was accompanied to the Oscars by her country singer husband Keith Urban, 55. The couple, even after almost two decades of marriage, still look completely smitten with each other. The actress, maybe because she was drunk, was particularly affectionate and was caught gazing at her beau lovingly several times. They even shared several cheeky kisses. They’re no strangers to PDA! They often share cute couple photos with each other on Instagram, like the one Nicole posted backstage at one of Keith’s shows in an ab-baring top.
