Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are the latest celebrities to make plans to leave the United States behind, with this Hollywood couple choosing to return home to Australia. Nicole has had a very busy, and very emotionally taxing year, and sometimes you can’t ignore the feeling that going home will fix everything. Keep reading for more information.
Nicole Kidman Has A Tough Year
In September, Nicole Kidman's mother passed away just hours before Nicole was awarded the Best Actress gong at the Venice Film Festival for her role in Babygirl. The next day, Nicole, Keith Urban, and their children, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, flew home to Los Angeles before Nicole left for her true home, Australia, for the funeral.
Amid this tragic and grief-filled time for Nicole, she was simultaneously attending red carpet events and award shows, promotion events, and filming yet another project–keeping herself very busy. "Nicole is still looking as amazing as always but she's been through so much," an insider told Women's Day. "She seems to be dealing with her grief by throwing herself intro work."
Nicole & Keith Head Back To Australia
Many insiders close to the actress are worrying that Nicole is suffering from "burnout" and aren't sure "how much more of this she can take," and are reporting that the couple are considering relocating to their home country of Australia—for good.
"Nicole and Keith have had their worst year ever," they explained. "They've barely spent any time together and she's been on her own throughout some of her most distressing times. The big worry on everyone's mind is, how much more of this can she take?" It wouldn't be a shock if the two moved back, given they already own multiple pieces of property in the country: a $6.5M farmhouse in the Southern Highlands and two penthouses in Milson's Point in Sydney.
