In addition to her daughters Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 13, both of whom she shares with husband Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman is also mom to adoptive son Connor, 29, and adoptive daughter Isabella, 31, who she shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

But if we are to believe the latest reports, the 57-year-old Oscar-winning actress fears she has “lost” her son Connor to Scientology – the same religion which the Mission: Impossible actor seemingly lost his 18-year-old daughter Suri, who he shares with ex-wife Katie Holmes, to. Nicole Kidman And Tom Cruise's Son Connor Reportedly Gets New Tattoo Dedicated To Scientology

According to reports, the Being the Ricardos actress feels like she has "lost" her estranged son "forever," as he is becoming more and more invested in the Church of Scientology. Both Connor and his older sister Isabella have reportedly remained devoted Scientologists since their parents split in 2001; and as we have learned from the Top Gun actor's relationship with his daughter Suri – or lack thereof – Scientology members don't tend to mix with non-Scientology members.

"By strict doctrines, Tom cannot engage or connect with his own daughter," former leading Scientologist Karen De La Carriere, who left the religion in 2010 after 35 years, previously told the Daily Mail. She added: "Scientology has no scruples or ethics on loyalty to family and wants only to break up families. In Scientology, it is Scientology first; family priorities come low down in the order."

The latest sign that suggests that Connor is becoming more and more involved in the controversial religion that his father has been associated with for many years is his brand new tattoo, which is something his mom finds "extremely painful" to digest.

Connor Cruise Is Reportedly Viewed As A 'Prince Of Scientology' According To Insider

Connor, pictured above, reportedly got a tattoo of the number 1938, which is a very significant number in the Church of Scientology. According to reports, 1938 is the year Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard wrote the unpublished manuscript, Excalibur.

"Nicole's ache for her son is very real and extremely painful," an insider reportedly New Idea, as per The Daily Mail. "But seeing Connor double down on his devotion to Scientology with a permanent inking on his body will be hard for her to take."

What could be even harder for the Big Little Lies actress are the rumors that Connor is rising within the church's ranks, with a source alleging that Connor is currently viewed as "some kind of 'prince' of Scientology," according to the Daily Mail.

"Nicole knows Connor and Bella are enveloped in their dad's religion and will always respect that," the insider continued, adding: "She had hoped they might grow out of it once they got older or at least give her the opportunity to explain. However, if Connor is being earmarked for a senior role in the organization, Nicole knows she has probably lost him forever."
