Nicole Kidman was a key speaker at the SXSW conference in Sydney on Thursday, October 19th – and she wowed fans with her age-defying appearance while she was on the panel!

The 56-year-old Oscar-winning actress was on the panel alongside film and television producer Per Saari, co-founder of her Blossom Films production company which was founded in 2010. Kidman and Saari have worked together on some of our favorite dramas from the past few years, including Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers, both of which were adapted from novels by bestselling Australian author Liane Moriarty.

Nicole Kidman’s Chic Monochrome Outfit

For her appearance at the inaugural SXSW festival, the Special Ops: Lioness actress looked effortlessly chic in some cropped white jeans, which were elevated with a sharp black blazer with exaggerated shoulders and a matching black top underneath. She finished off the outfit with some towering black pointed-toe heels, which elongated her already long legs even further. (Check out some pictures here.)

The Undoing actress wore her sleek blonde hair in a slightly side-parted down do with soft waves. She kept her makeup light and natural, with rosy pink cheeks and a subtle dark pink lip.

Nicole Kidman Teases New Project

While she was on the panel, the Being the Ricardos star teased an exciting new project that she is working on. After double checking that she was allowed to talk about it, the Roar actress told host Peter Overton that she is working on a new Aussie drama called Last Anniversary, saying: “Nobody knows about this one yet. I mean, officially. John Polson will direct it, and: Australian accents! [An] Australian project, with Australian accents for the world.”

The drama is based on the Liane Moriarty book of the same name, and is about a woman named Sophie who inherits a remote house that becomes the centre of a mystery when her ex-boyfriend’s aunt passes away. Saari revealed that production starts next month in Australia, and “has been a long time in the making.” We can’t wait!
