Nicole Kidman Shares Her Late Mother’s Advice
The Balenciaga ambassador enjoyed a successful 2024, taking on numerous projects, though fans began voicing concerns about potential burnout. Adding to the challenges, Kidman faced a heartbreaking loss when her mother passed away in September last year.
She recently revealed that when her first daughter with Urban was born, she contemplated quitting acting until her mother gave her life-changing advice.
“When I gave birth to [Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban], I was like, ‘Well, I think I’m pretty much done now,'” the Lioness actress said. “We were living on a farm, and that’s when my mother said, ‘I wouldn’t give up completely. Keep a finger sort of in it.’ And I’m like, ‘No, no. I’m done now. I’m done.’ She’s going, ‘Just listen to me. Keep moving forward. Not saying that you have to do it to the level you’ve been doing it, but I wouldn’t give it up completely,'” she explained.
It’s a good move Kidman still stuck to acting, as her career continues to soar to new heights despite being in the industry for decades.
