Nicole Kidman Discusses Her Passion for Acting and Her Private Life
Zendaya explained to the Australian native on how filming Euphoria sometimes took a toll on her as she tried to balance work and personal time.
Kidman replied, “I go home, and I have a family, which is such a good balance, because you have to be present and not carrying it all. When people say, “Can you have a baby and still do the acting?” Yes, you can. It’s almost better, because you can’t indulge yourself. But at the same time, the work does penetrate my dreams or my sleep.”
She further explained, “Also, I just am a huge believer in working. Get in there. If you get offered a job, overthinking and going, “Well, is it good enough?”—so many actors don’t have a choice. Just jump in and do it. You never know where it’s going to lead. And every job does produce something else.” The Big Little Lies actress revealed that she stays open and excited when new opportunities are presented to her.
