5 Things To Remember The Night Before Your Wedding

October 24, 2017 by Linda DiProperzio

Between all of the excitement, anticipation, and yes, even jitters, it can be easy to get distracted the night before the wedding. You hopefully have all of your major to-dos crossed off the list, but there are still a few things that need to be remembered. Here are five you definitely don't want to forget.

Submit Your Marriage License Don't be one of those brides who forgets the marriage license on the big day. Instead, give it to the officiant at the rehearsal, or if that's not possible, give it to the best man or maid of honor so they can bring it with them to the ceremony location.
Prepare Your Wedding Dress

While shouldn't be hanging your wedding dress up months in advance (it could lose its shape), you can do so the night before the wedding. So, hang up your pressed dress so that it's ready to go, and lay out everything else you need to get ready in the morning, including undergarments, jewelry, and shoes.

Get Your Vendor Tips Ready

Get any vendor tips in order the night before, placing them in labeled envelopes. Then you can pass them to the best man, maid of honor, or one of your parents the next day. This will be a much easier and smoother process than rummaging through your wallet or purse on your wedding day.

Pack For Your Honeymoon

You should finish your honeymoon packing the night before your big day if you're leaving for your vacation the day after the wedding. After all, you don't want to have to do it on your wedding night! Plus, this will give you extra time to remember any last-minute items that you want to pack.

Get Plenty Of Sleep

Pre-wedding jitters are totally understandable but they shouldn't get in the way of how much sleep you get the night before your wedding. Your wedding day will definitely be a long day and you'll be sure to be on your feet for a good portion of it. With that said, you'll want to get enough shut eye the night before the big day.
