The only thing better than the start of summer is summer sales. Memorial Day Weekend may have come and gone, but the savings have only just begun. Most of our favorite retailers are running summer sales events all season long, and one of the most highly-anticipated is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

Why do we love this sale so much? Nordstrom sells products in just about every lifestyle category we can imagine: clothing, accessories, shoes, beauty, wellness, home goods, kitchenware… you name it. And, the department store carries so many of our favorite brands.

Basically, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the one time each year we know we can find all of the summer styles we want for the prices we want to pay.

The 2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Starts on July 28

This year's sale will run from July 28 through August 8, but some people will even get to start shopping earlier than that. Nordstrom cardmembers will be able to start shopping the Early Access sale on July 16.

But prices will go back up to normal retail for everyone on August 9, so you will need to make the most of the savings and price drops during the 12-day sale.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Dates

July 6: Sale preview begins. Nordstrom gives everyone a sneak peak into what's on sale and we can start putting together Wish Lists to shop when the savings begin.

July 16: Early Acces starts. Nordstrom cardmembers can start shopping the Anniversary Sale, and anyone can apply to become a cardholder to get access.

July 28: Nordstrom Anniversary Sale officially launches. All savings are available for all shoppers. Go crazy!

August 8: Last day of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, meaning our chance to soak in the savings.

August 9: Prices go back up to normal.

What Is Discounted At The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

The short answer is that everything is on sale during the Nordstrom Anniversary event. The retailer doesn't typically discount every item it sells, but every product category will feature a ton of markdowns.

Nordstrom already said that it is adding over 100 new brands to the sale, and customer favorites will definitely be included.

You can shop the sale anywhere you want. You can visit a Nordstrom store, you can shop online or shop on the app. And, if you shop online you can pick up in-store, use curbside pickup or enjoy free shipping. Nordstrom also offers free returns and exchanges for online orders.

So basically, there is no reason to miss the 2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. You can shop anywhere you want with 12 days to save.
