Donald Trump Loses NY Fraud Lawsuit; Is Ordered To Pay Millions

After months in the courtroom, Judge Engoron has finally found Donald Trump guilty of fraud, and has hit him with a $450M fine as a result. The judge found $354M in damages from fraud from the various properties, and added the interest that started accruing from different points for the different properties of about $100M more, bringing us to a grand total of $450M.

He also ordered each of Donald Trump’s two sons, Eric and Don Jr., to pay $4M, and the former chief financial officer for the company, Allen Weisselberg, $1M. Pennies. In comparison to Donald Trump’s bill. Plus, NY Attorney General Letitia James, whose office brought the case, said that the amount “will continue to increase every single day” until the full amount is paid.

“Donald Trump is finally facing accountability for his lying, cheating, and staggering fraud,” James’ statement reads. “Because no matter how big, rich, or powerful you think you are, no one is above the law.”

NY Attorney General Letitia James Trolls Trump On Twitter

Since the close of the case, James has taken to X, formerly Twitter, to troll the former president. After all the posts he's made about her on Truth Social, it's not surprising that James' is clapping back in one of the funniest ways possible.

On Friday, Feb, 26th, about a week after the case was closed, James posted to X: "$464,576,230.62," with no other context, but everyone knew what she was talking about.

On Saturday, James retweeted her previous tweet with the caption "+$114,553.04," referencing the amount of interest Trump had accrued in just one day.

She did the same thing on Sunday, posting, "+$114,553.04 = $464,805,336.70." How Trump will be able to come up with this staggering amount of money is the question of the hour, and it seems like only time will tell.
