And Old Navy’s Labor Day Sale is always one of our most highly-anticipated sales because of the insane discounts that are available for keen bargain hunters!
Old Navy are pulling out all the stops for 2023 – and their Labor Day Sale, which is expected to start ahead of Labor Day (Monday, September 4th 2023) is no exception! We thought this year’s Fourth of July sale was epic, but it seems like the Labor Day Sale might just top it, and be the biggest and best one yet!
When Is The Old Navy Labor Day 2023 Sale
The official date hasn’t been announced yet, but last year's sale started before the Labor Day weekend, so we can expect the same to happen this year too. The earlier, the better, we say!
Old Navy Labor Day Sale 2023 Dates
We looked into our crystal ball, and predicted that if this year's sale follows the same pattern as last year's, the Labor Day 2023 sale will start on Friday, September 1st 2023 and will end on Monday, September 4th, 2023. Last year, when Labor Day was on Monday, September 5th, it started on Friday, September 2nd and ended on Monday, September 5th.
What Is In The Old Navy Labor Day 2023 Sale?
What *isn't* in the sale might be an easier question! During Old Navy's sales, shoppers can expect to get up to 70% off on menswear, womenswear (including women's plus and maternity wear) and kids wear, so the options are practically endless!
How To Shop The Old Navy Labor Day Sale
We always recommend that shoppers browse the website somewhat obsessively prior to the sale, to familiarize themselves with what’s currently available. Having said that, if you find something too good to miss out on before the sale, we suggest snapping it up on the spot, as there's no guarantee that it’s going to be there when the sale starts. Or if it's going to be in the sale at all!
What To Shop In The Old Navy Labor Day 2023 Sale
This is always our favorite bit! While we love shopping for summer, we also *hope* to find some fall staples in the sale, such as this striped Oxford boyfriend shirt, this versatile double-breasted linen-blend suit blazer and these high-waisted super-skinny jeans.

If you want to snap up some sale items but don't want to wait for the Labor Day sale, you'll be thrilled to know that there are still some enormous discounts on the Old Navy website right this very second. Did someone say tops starting from $8, and pants and dresses starting from $20? This pink one used to be $36.99 and is now down to $20, so that's quite a big saving! And what a great way to get in on the ever-popular Barbiecore trend without splashing too much cash!

Last Year's Old Navy Labor Day Sale
We can usually get a good idea on what to expect from the current Labor Day Sale by looking at the one from the year before. In 2022, shoppers got 60% off clearance and 30% off almost everything else that’s not on sale. This meant that bargain hunters could get their hands on tees from as low as $10, dresses from as low as $15, and jeans from as low as $20. Online shoppers also got free shipping on purchases of $50 or more, so we're hoping that the same rules apply this year.
There was a similar pattern in 2021. Shoppers could get 75% off clearance items and 50% off almost everything else, while online shoppers also got free shipping on purchases of over $50. Sounds good to us!
How Often Does Old Navy Have Sales?
If you cast your minds back to July, you may remember that Old Navy had a huge Fourth of July sale, with discounts on everything from T-shirts to jeans to swimwear, and more! Old Navy has a lot of sales throughout the year (their jeans are on sale roughly once a month, so remember to keep your eyes peeled and always keep popping into the store and refreshing the website to be one of the first in the know, as they always sell out super quickly!) but the Labor Day sale is typically one of the biggest, with the most items on the sale, and the biggest discounts on offer!
The Labor Day sale is perhaps the biggest sale before the highly-anticipated Black Friday sale in November, so now is the best time to stock up on the last of the summer pieces before the new season starts. You're far less likely to find your next bikini in the Black Friday sale, but a *lot* more likely to find it, and the rest of your summer must-haves in the Labor Day sale.

Old Navy Labor Day Sale 2020
In 2020, Old Navy ran deals from September 4th to September 7th, and had up to 60% off everything on sale, as well as an extra $10 off purchases of $60 or more.
Old Navy Labor Day Sale 2019
On Thursday, August 29th, Old Navy rolled out some very deep discounts, including 50% off jeans, 50% off dresses and 50% off tees. These incredible savings lasted through the holiday until Monday, September 2nd. How do these promotions compare to those from even further back? Old Navy Pre-Labor Day 2019
They kicked things off with a pre-Labor Day event on Thursday, August 22nd. The lead-up sales included 30% off jeans, 40% off dresses and 50% off tees. Those prices expired on Wednesday, August 28th.
Old Navy Labor Day Sale 2018
In 2018, they had 50% off all jeans, dresses, T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies, with styles starting as low as $6.
