A little black dress with cutouts is a timeless celebrity fave, and Olivia Culpo, 29, is the latest A-lister to don a sexy, skintight item from the NYC-based brand Mônot. The former Miss Universe shared a March 6th Instagram video of her posing in the brand’s sultry dress with cutouts that revealed her under breast area, toned midriff and upper body. With thin, skimpy straps and a leg-exposing high slit, this dress’s little details ensured that all of her svelte curves would be highlighted— wow.

If this dress looks familiar, fellow model Kendall Jenner, 26, donned an almost exact version of it back in November 2021 to her friend Lauren Perez’s wedding in Miami Beach. Hers had even less straps and support than Culpo’s, as it was a two-piece dress with a similar skin-baring, ultra-tight design, but without connecting pieces in its center. It also was more low-waisted in comparison.

You might also remember when Jenner was called out by commenters on social media for her “inappropriate” look, with many hinting that she may have “upstaged” the bride since she wore this to what “should have been” a “classy” occasion. Nevertheless, Jenner wrote in a comment that she asked bride Perez for permission to wear the dress to her big day, which Perez confirmed and said she looked great in.

Culpo’s lookalike dress differed with connecting, high-waisted straps across her midsection— but both looks were certainly sultry and risqué. Both models went minimal when it came to accessorizing their looks, and both wore heeled shoes to match their black frocks.

Culpo parted her collarbone-length bob in the middle, styling it with soft, textured waves for a timeless and glamorous look. Jenner wore her raven locks down, also in a middle-part and wore them in a loose-wave style. From the way each dress hugs each model’s killer figure, in the case of ‘who wore it better,’ it’s impossible to decide!

Looks like the black cut-out dress trend is even more apparent in 2022, and here to stay.
