Olivia Wilde stepped out in NYC on Thursday night to celebrate the season with Tiffany & Co. She had the honor of illuminating the iconic Bird on the Rock installation that is set above The Landmark at Tiffany’s legendary Fifth Avenue boutique at 57th Street.
The brand also hosted a cocktail party for which Wilde dazzled in the perfect evening outfit—one that was neither burgundy nor sequined.
The Don’t Worry, Darling director showed off her fit figure in a dainty black floor-length gown that had a subtle sheer fabric. She threw on a classic black blazer to keep herself warm.

Olivia Wilde Expresses Her Love for New York During the Holidays
“I’m a New Yorker at heart. I was born here. I love the holidays in New York,” she said. “There’s nothing better than roasting chestnuts and hot chocolate and the smell of trees.”
The 40-year-old added, “My kids love Christmas in New York. It’s really funny, because a lot of the places that are sort of like tourist destinations, where I wouldn’t necessarily want to go and spend time on Christmas, you’re like, ‘Yeah, let’s go.’ The Rockefeller Center ice skating rink, the tree. Even though it’s complete insanity. I think it feels like an optimistic nostalgia.”
Olivia also expressed how the past few holiday seasons haven’t been so cheerful for her, but things are pretty special this time.
“I associate the holidays very strongly with Tiffany. And I think it’s amazing to honor the history of the house. It’s uplifting my spirits, and I’ll tell you, they have not been very uplifted recently. So to be able to celebrate like this is really special,” she said.
