The Booksmart filmmaker's Gala look was composed of the flowy white dress with gold plate details, matching wristlet pieces and glistening dangly earrings. The standout dress also featured two side cut-outs and glamorous, shawl-like short sleeves.
Fashion enthusiasts might recognize the frock from Chloé’s spring 1983 collection, which was inspired by music and regarding this dress, violins, specifically, according to Vogue. Gabriela Hearst created Wilde's dress, taking inspiration from Lagerfeld.
While gracing fashion's biggest night's red carpet, Wilde wore her long dirty-blonde tresses down, parted in the center and styled into elegant, loose curls.
As for her makeup look, the mom of two went for a classic black liner winged cat-eye, voluminous lashes and smokey eyeshadow. She topped it all off with rosy blush on her cheekbones and a glossy pink pout.
Inside Wilde & Sudeikis' Tumultuous Custody Battle
Wilde made headlines last month as the custody battle over her two kids with ex Sudeikis went on. She was in a relationship with the Ted Lasso actor from 2011 to 2020. The former couple share one 8-year-old son Otis and 6-year-old daughter Daisy. Most recently, last month the Tron: Legacy actress and her legal team called for a judgement on child support, as per documents obtained by The Blast.
Wilde alleges that she is incurring most of the expenses for her and the Saturday Night Live alum's children. She claims that Sudeikis is "not currently paying child support to me, despite my requests through counsel that we agree upon an interim support amount to avoid further litigation in this matter."
Wilde added, "While Jason and I have been splitting certain expenses for the children, such as their school tuition, I have been bearing 100% of the costs of the children's care when they are with me, including, but not limited to, their food, clothing, childcare, extracurricular activities, and transportation costs."
Olivia Wilde Rocked An Exposed Thong Under A Netted White Dress To The Met Gala After-Party
After her showstopping Chloé white revenge dress, Wilde's after-party was even edgier. Her second look of the night was noticeably chic and daring. Olivia donned a netted metallic silver dress that was completely see-through and revealed a risqué black thong. The peekaboo thong trend was a staple of Y2K-era style that's been making a comeback in recent months.
To add another edgy touch to her look, Wilde paired her dress with chunky platform booties to match her black thong and held a gold clutch. Plus, she didn't add other accessories and kept the look simple and effortlessly chic.
Although Wilde did not post a photo of her after-party look, fan accounts were quick to share the outfit on Instagram. The account checkthetag posted the look and fans rushed to the comments. One fan even commented, "This looks way better than the look she showed up in at the met!"
