Olivia Wilde looked effortlessly chic in her signature elevated basics for the opening of a new Michael Kors store in LA, earlier this week.
The Don’t Worry Darling director, 40, donned a plunging white tank top and high-waisted black wide-leg trousers that were cinched at her trim waist with a double-buckled belt with silver hardware.
Olivia Wilde Turns Head In Sophisticated Black-And-White Basics At LA Store Opening
The look was accessorized with dainty silver necklaces stacked with a longer pendant and doubled-up minimalist earrings of the same metal. The actress completed the sophisticated ensemble with a pair of sleek square-toe black shoes.
The House actress kept her glam simple with a glowy and fresh faced look that was completed with a nude lip. Her highlighted locks were kept straight and parted down the middle to continue her effortless vibe.
While attending the opening, Wilde reunited with a familiar face. She was joined at the event by Kaitlyn Dever, who starred in Wilde's directorial debut movie, Booksmart, in 2019.
The mother-of-two later directed and starred in the People's Choice Award-winning film Don’t Worry Darling, which also starred Florence Pugh and Harry Styles.
Wilde is now propelling her directorial journey forward with three projects in progress: Avengelyne, Naughty and Perfect.
Olivia Wilde Reveals The Shared 'Common Theme' Of Her Upcoming Films
The star revealed to People last month that all the films have one thing in common.
“The next few projects I'm directing all have a common theme, which are women living without shame,” Wilde told People. "It's interesting – they're three very different movies but it's all about women being empowered."
Wilde even shared that her daughter, Daisy, wants to follow in her footsteps and direct her own movie. The star shared that her 7-year-old daughter directs her own home videos, which the mother-daughter duo then edit together.
When People asked the Booksmart director if she was featured in her mini-me's films, she responded saying "No, no, no. She would critique my choreography way too much."
Along with her daughter, Wilde also shares a 10-year-old son with her ex Jason Sudeikis.
The filmmaker shared with People that she only has one project right now that her children are allowed to view, due to their ratings.
However, she added that they will have permission to watch all her films when they are older, including her new ones, which we also can't wait to see.
