Menswear-inspired fashion is making a major comeback for women, thanks to style icons like Melania Trump, Demi Moore, and Nicole Kidman. Adding her own twist to the trend, Oprah showcased a striking take on the classic tuxedo.

Attending the 2025 Oscars alongside Whoopi Goldberg to present a tribute to the late Quincy Jones, the talk show host dazzled in a black tuxedo-style dress by Dolce & Gabbana. The dress featured satin lapels, a white dress shirt with white cuffs, a chic sequin necktie, and a matching shimmery skirt.

Oprah accessorized with black shoes, Boucheron jewelry, and reading glasses, while her hair was styled in a voluminous blowout, elegantly swept away from her face.

Whoopi chose to wear a liquid dark blue Christian Siriano gown.

The 71-year-old took to her Instagram page to pen a heartfelt tribute to Quincy Jones, writing, "Eased on down the road to honor Quincy Jones at this year’s #Oscars. Q was love lived out loud in human form, and he poured that love into others and into his work. My life changed forever and for the better after meeting him. He discovered me for “The Color Purple,” my first film ever. It was an honor to reunite with my Purple sister @whoopigoldberg to celebrate a true American legend, whose music and movies are an inspiration to our generation and for generations to follow."

Oprah Winfrey Says Quincy Jones Was 'Loved'

Quincy Jones passed away in November of 2024 and was widely recognized for the 1985 film The Color Purple, among his many achievements. The film featured both Winfrey and Goldberg.

Winfrey said on stage, “When one hears the name Quincy Jones, one’s first thought is musical genius, and for good reason,” adding that he earned 28 Grammy Awards and was also “the driving force behind ‘We Are the World.’”

Winfrey ended up being nominated for her role in The Color Purple, while Goldberg was nominated as well for Best Actress in 1986 for her role in the film.
