Oprah Winfrey Shines In A Gold Jumpsuit
Oprah convinced her dear friend to come with her to what she told her was a “holiday work dinner,” but was actually a secret gathering of her closest friends and family that Oprah had been planning since June. With all that party planning, she also found the time to pick out a stunning look for herself: a waist-cinching gold jumpsuit.
The jumpsuit featured trouser-style wide-leg pants that showed off her long, toned legs, and a wrap-style top that cinched her in at the waist with a fabric belt of the same color. Though she made to hop out of the spotlight once King realized the event was for her, her fabulous outfit was certainly hard to miss.
Oprah's 40-lb Weight Loss
Over the past few months, Winfrey has garnered significant media attention for her remarks about weight loss medications, including Ozempic, a diabetes drug that numerous celebrities have acknowledged using in a controversial effort to slim down more quickly.
While initially attributing her weight loss over the years to the WeightWatchers program and hiking, the television personality has since admitted to utilizing a weight loss medication herself.
In December 2023, Winfrey sat down with People and revealed: "I now use [an unnamed weight loss drug] as I feel I need it, as a tool to manage not yo-yoing." The Wrinkle in Time actress went on: "The fact that there's a medically approved prescription for managing weight and staying healthier, in my lifetime, feels like relief, like redemption, like a gift, and not something to hide behind and once again be ridiculed for." She added: "I’m absolutely done with the shaming from other people and particularly myself."
