Ozzy Osbourne Confesses That He’s ‘Not Completely Sober’ And Sharon Osbourne Isn’t Happy About It In New Podcast Episode: ‘My Wife Kicked My Butt’

Ozzy Osbourne has been very open with his fans about his health lately, including his battle with Parkinson’s, undergoing spinal surgery last year, and even his on/off struggles with sobriety. And he recently confessed that after many years of sobriety, he is now not “completely” sober, and could be tempted to return to stronger drugs due to his ongoing health issues.

On a recent episode of The Madhouse Chronicles, a new podcast with the Black Sabbath rocker and Billy Idol guitarist Billy Morrison, Osbourne said that he seems to be much happier now that he is not totally sober. His wife Sharon Osbourne, who he has been married to for 42 years, on the other hand, doesn’t feel the same way!

Ozzy Osbourne Says He Occasionally Uses Marijuana, But Knows Sharon Osbourne Won't Approve

The 75-year-old "Crazy Train" musician confessed that he is "happier, but I'm not completely sober." He added: "I use a bit of marijuana from time to time."

Although the 72-year-old former X Factor judge isn't going to be happy about her husband's marijuana use – and he predicts that she will try to get rid of it if and when she finds it – he did praise her for helping him stay away from some of the much stronger drugs he used to use in the past, and deemed himself very fortunate.

"I'm lucky. My wife kicked my butt all the time," the "Paranoid" singer confessed, in reference to his wife who he reportedly has a suicide pact with. "She would [expletive] make life so difficult. Even the marijuana, she'll [expletive] find it and get rid of it."

Ozzy Osbourne Admits To Using Ketamine Following His Recent Surgery

Speaking of harder drugs, the "Children of the Grave" singer recalled using ketamine after suffering with neck and back issues following his recent surgery, and said: "I went to a doctor recently and started to have this ketamine. He put a tiny bit in me, but that was enough to spark me. That thing came back and weighted my brain."

The "War Pigs" singer went on to say that while not everyone will have a Sharon in their lives, there are many other people and places that can help if you want to get clean, including Alcoholics Anonymous, which he has used in the past.

He told listeners that he doesn't attend AA anymore, but thought he should probably go back as they have previously "got him sorted out to a certain degree."
