During several Paris Fashion Week events in September, Pamela Anderson went viral after opting to attend the lavish events without makeup. Her stunning, glowing and all-natural complexion captured the attention of fans and onlookers alike!

In an interview with People Magazine published last week, the Baywatch alum opened up more about her decision to embrace her natural beauty and gracefully accept the aging process. At 56 years old, she is proud to have chosen this path and encourages others to do the same.

Pamela Anderson Gets Candid About Going Makeup-Free To Fashion Week In New Interview

"I'm makeup free at home, so why not for Paris Fashion Week?" she said to the outlet. She then noted that she didn't expect to go viral at the time. "I really didn't know anyone would notice it, but I'm glad it became a positive message."

Anderson, who experienced a resurgence in popularity over the past year thanks to her memoir Love, Pamela and the docuseries Pamela: A Love Story, expressed that she no longer concerns herself with the process of aging.

"I call if Life-ing, not aging," she explained. "Chasing youth is futile. All we can do is embrace who we are at the moment we are in, and be okay with where our feet stand right now."

The style icon shared with the publication that she has reached a contented place in her life. She now lives on Vancouver Island, BC, by the waterfront, and she revealed that she has been renovating her grandmother's property with her parents.

Anderson also loves spending more time with her two kids; Brandon, 28, and Dylan, 25, whom she shares with her ex-husband Tommy Lee.

In addition to spending her days gardening, meditating, and nurturing her own produce, Anderson relishes being immersed in the serene surroundings of nature and its creatures.

The Pamela's Garden of Eden host also mentioned that she is involved in developing more shows that promote sustainable living. "I don't have to be cool anymore," she said, when asked about what she loves about this life stage she is in. "I can just be me. It's very freeing to be comfortable in your own skin."

However, Anderson emphasized that although she may not always wear makeup or indulge in all-glammed-up activities, it does not mean she will never do so again. "I'm not opposed to it, I just don't want to play the game," she shared. "And it felt good to look in the mirror and say, 'I'm OK just like this.'"

When asked if her priorities changed since transitioning to a more low-key lifestyle, she confirmed that they have remained mostly consistent. "I think I’ve had the same priorities over my lifetime, which is to be kind, and most importantly to be a good mom," she said.

"I knew I would not have kids unless I could look after them financially and emotionally, and that there would be in a safe place with or without a man in my life," she continued.  "As a mother I took the role seriously and I’m glad I thought that through."
