Parasite-Cleansing Cayenne Ginger Shots

She suggests consuming these shots on an empty stomach every morning to keep parasites at bay.

“Cayenne pepper contains a compound called capsaicin, which is responsible for its spicy taste and is also extremely anti-fungal, antibacterial, and antiparasitic,” she notes.

“And ginger is not only extremely antiparasitic and a powerhouse for the gut, but it can actually prevent stomach acid from flowing up the esophagus,” she adds. She also notes that these shots can also help with fat loss.

She drinks 2-3 shots per day, but you can always start slowly or however much you can tolerate.

Recipe

Ingredients: 2 lemons peeled and halved, 1 peeled Granny Smith apple cut into pieces, 1/4-1/2 C fresh ginger peeled & chopped, 3/4 C water, 1 tbsp honey (or as much as you prefer for taste, she usually adds 2), 1/8 TSP cayenne (what is called for, but she always shakes it in until it’s as hot as she can handle), and 1/8 TSP salt (she recommends using high mineral salt).

Instructions: Process lemons, ginger, and apples on high until completely smooth (about 2 minutes), pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a jar (squeeze as much liquid out as possible!), discard the solids, stir in honey (she pre-dissolves it in a little bit of warm water so it mixes in easily), cayenne, and salt. Store in the refrigerator.
