Hilton explained that she got the idea to try IVF from longtime friend Kim Kardashian.
"We have been doing the IVF so I can pick twins if I like," the heiress explained. "Kim is actually the one who told me about that. I didn't know anything about it."
She also has the SKIMS founder to thank for introducing her to her doctor. Hilton continued, "And I'm happy that she told me that advice and introduced me to her doctor. So yeah, we have them all ready to go."
According to the heiress, she wanted to go the IVF route because it was "the only way" that her and her beau could make sure that they have "twins that are a boy and a girl."
After the twins, Hilton is hoping to keep her family growing. "We want to have twins first and then I don't know, either three or four children," she explained.
That does not mean the process has been anything close to easy. "It was tough, but I knew it would be worth it. I did it a couple of times," Hilton said.
The DJ said that going through it with the support of Reum has definitely helped. "Just doing it together and having a partner that is just so supportive and always makes me feel just like a princess all the time ... that it wasn't that bad," she explained.
The 39-year-old also added that she has a lot to look forward to, explaining that she is excited about this next step.
"I'm really excited just to move on for the next step of my life and finally just have a real life," she explained. "Because I really do believe that having a family and having children is the meaning of life. And I haven't got to experience that yet, because I didn't feel like anybody deserved that love from me, and now I finally found the person who does."
