No one can rock a sparkly Y2k mini dress like early aughts style icon Paris Hilton. The socialite, 41, posed in a sparkly, icy blue, thigh-skimming garment in her March 15th Instagram post (and others that followed) showing off her toned, long legs and slim figure.

The reality star turned heads as fans in her comment sections pointed out that the dress is very similar to the iconic silver, chainmail-strapped, draped mini frock that Hilton donned to her 21st birthday party in 2002. Hilton’s 2022 spin on the glittery, flowing mini dress trend was made possible by the ‘Bamm Bamm Dress & Winona Skirt’ from London-based brand Poster Girl, with sexy side cut-outs and ties.

She donned this show-stopping piece to the launch party of her new Quay sunglasses collection in Los Angeles and wore a notable diamond-encrusted chain choker necklace (that was also eerily similar to the one she wore with her birthday dress 20 years ago!) The media personality chose Steve Madden’s Vala Heel in baby blue to complete her nostalgic look and further accessorized with see-through, mesh, sparkly, fingerless gloves and stud earrings.

Hilton wore her signature blonde tresses in a high ponytail with glamorous face-framing pieces falling at the side of her face. She shared other photos and videos in the lookalike dress on Instagram— showing her DJing in it and arriving to her launch event while strutting like it was a runway. “SLIVING Sunset Glow, Never lose your sparkle, The world needs your shine more than ever!” she wrote in her first post in the series wearing the dress, along with emojis.

The Poster Girl brand (which stars like Vanessa Hudgens and Dua Lipa are also obsessed with) shared a photo of Hilton in their item to their Instagram account, and she commented, expressing her interest in buying the dress in different colors. “Obsessed with your dresses! What other colors do you have or can you make in this dress? I need it in every color!! it’s [1oo% emoji] my vibe,” she wrote. The brand, to Hilton’s delight, revealed they have more colors on the way this summer.

Although nothing can ever truly top Hilton’s legendary 21st birthday dress moment from Julien Macdonald, fans may remember when Kendall Jenner paid homage to Hilton in a replica to the party for her own special day in 2016.
