What’s not to love about McFlurrys? As long as the ice cream machine is working (and if you can look past the reportedly questionable cleaning practices), these creamy ice cream delicacies are some of the tastiest sweet treats fast food has to offer. The only downside is the fact that we wish there were more flavors.
Now, though, following the controversial Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry, there may be more good news on the horizon, especially for fans of peanut butter: McDonald’s will be serving up a Peanut Butter Crunch McFlurry this summer. Our mouths are watering!

Peanut Butter Crunch McFlurry rumored to roll out this July
That’s right: Peanut butter lovers finally have something to look forward to once more at McDonald’s. According to an Instagram post from @Snackolator that was posted on June 21, rumor has it we’re about to have a new favorite dessert.
The Peanut Butter Crunch McFlurry, which was tested in California markets last year, will reportedly be packed with peanut butter cookies and chocolate pieces—sounds to us like a slightly crunchier version of a Reese’s McFlurry, which did, in fact, exist, once upon a time. We’re still crossing our fingers that it will make its return soon, but this one might be even better. It sounds like a great pairing for French fries, despite all those health risks.
Many fans seem to be equally excited about this possible new addition to the menu, which is rumored to roll out this month. "I don't get McFlurry's but I would def get this flavor," one wrote on @snackolator's post. "Yum."
However, some are begging for different flavors, such as Butterfinger (which was an original McFlurry flavor back in the day).
Regardless, we can all come together over one shared grievance: those darned broken ice cream machines! "Only excited if Mcd's can keep their ice cream machines working for longer than 5 minutes," one fan commented. LOL!
What do you think? Are you excited to give this a try? Or will you be sticking with your favorite seasonal Frosty flavor?
