Celebs are really loving mini dresses right now! Ariana Grande was wearing one of the shortest leather minis in existence on The Voice on November 23rd, probably seeking inspiration from Taylor Swift, who wore an equally miniscule LBD on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Thursday, November 11th. But Penelope Cruz’s black, lace dress, which she wore on the cover of the latest issue of Elle Spain, might *just* be our favorite. It’s so chic yet so scandalously sexy!
The 47-year-old actress couldn’t wait to show off her Elle Spain front cover and accompanying editorial with her fans – can you blame her?! – which is why she posted some pics of the publication’s two front covers, as well as the inside editorial which features the dress in all its jaw-droppingly-seductive glory on Instagram. And as you can imagine, every single one of her 5.7 million followers were beyond grateful for the sneak peek!

The front cover features a close up of the Oscar-winning actress, who is giving a smoldering look to the lucky person behind the camera. Her light brunette locks are flicked over to one side, while the high neck detailing of the black dress is just about visible. The next picture in the Parallel Mothers star’s Insta-carousel is from inside the magazine, and features the gorgeous black lace Dolce and Gabbana dress in more stunning detail. The shoot is very old Hollywood glamour – and Ms Cruz is the perfect model for the job! Penelope is snapped posing inside a car, with one hand on her head and one hand grazing her thigh and making us very aware of just how short the hemline of her lace dress actually is! And just how see-through the dress is! We’re shocked she didn’t flash the camera!
The Lancôme ambassador completed her high fashion look with bold red lipstick (of course!) and matching red nail polish (which is most likely by the French luxury perfumes and cosmetics house, since she tagged them in her post) but it’s clear to see that the dress is what garnered the most attention, and Insta-love! Some of the Instagram comments from fans included: “Sexxyyy sweetheart,” “Beauty as always,” “Gorgeous,” and “Superb,” all with red heart, heart eye, and more fire emojis than you can shake a stick at. “The black lace…” another fan gushed, followed by two heart eyes emojis. “Beautiful Like fine wine,” commented another stan, while yet another IG user said what we have known all along: “You just get better every year. Unbelievably beautiful.” We couldn’t agree more!
