Pete Davidson‘s fans are concerned for his health, after it was revealed that he had checked into a wellness facility amid his ongoing mental health struggles.

An insider reportedly told People that the former Saturday Night Live comedian, 30, checked himself into a rehabilitation center on Wednesday, July 31st, in order to focus on his mental health, which has “always been a priority” for him. This rehab stint comes following his recent run of over 200 live stand-up shows across the U.S. It also comes one month after his split from model and actress Madelyn Cline, who he was dating for almost one year.

Pete Davidson 'Will Often Check Himself Into Rehab,' Source Says

The Bodies Bodies Bodies star reportedly received treatment for his previously diagnosed borderline personality disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder in 2023, and is now at a wellness facility undergoing further treatment.

If we are to believe the reports, Kim Kardashian's former boyfriend regularly checks himself into rehab in order to stay on top of things. "Pete will often check himself into rehab to work on these issues," an insider previously told People during his 2023 rehab stint, adding: "His friends and family have been supportive during this time."

Fans Show Support On Social Media

Social media was rife with supportive comments from fans when the most recent news about him checking himself into rehab again first broke.

"He has never been shy about having mental health issues. Borderline personality disorder is very hard to handle. He is a strong advocate for standing up against the stigma and getting the treatment he needs and deserves. He has a deep story. Love you Pete," wrote one supportive fan on X. "Good for him, leave him be," wrote a second fan, as a third added: "Get better soon Pete!"

"I hope he gets the help he needs," wrote another fan, while another said they were "praying for Pete" during this time. "He sure is in my prayers, hope he's feeling all our love," echoed another. "Glad he's getting help! I'm rooting for you buddy," commented another fan. "Wishing him the best," wrote another.

What Has Pete Davidson Previously Said About His Mental Health Struggles?

The King of Staten Island star has been open with his fans about his mental health struggles. In January this year, during his one-hour-long Netflix special Turbo Fonzerelli, he confessed to being high on ketamine for almost three years – and was even high when he attended Aretha Franklin's funeral in 2018 with then-fiancée Ariana Grande.

"I was on a drug for the past two and [a] half, three years called ketamine. What a time," Davidson said on the show. "It's embarrassing when you're not on ketamine anymore, though… I'm embarrassed. I was out and about like that. That's not cool, you know?" he continued, adding: "I was at Aretha Franklin's funeral like that. Yeah, I have to live with that. You know what I mean? She'll never know, but still, that's not the point. You know what I mean?"

Pete Davidson Previously Opened Up About His BPD

During an appearance on the WTF With Marc Maron podcast back in 2017, he told listeners that he had checked into a rehabilitation center in December 2016 after struggling with BPD, i.e., borderline personality disorder.

"I started having these mental breakdowns where I would, like, freak out and then not remember what happened after. Blind rage," he explained at the time. "I found out I have BPD, which is borderline personality disorder," he continued, adding: "One of my psychiatrists… He was always saying before this big meltdown, 'You're probably bipolar or borderline, we're just going to have to figure it out.'"

The Bupkis star also spoke about going to therapy, and said that he was "depressed all the time" but found that therapy really improved his mental health. "It is working, slowly but surely," he said at the time. "I've been having a lot of problems. This whole year has been a [expletive] nightmare. This has been the worst year of my life, getting diagnosed with this and trying to figure out how to learn with this and live with this," he added.
