Pete Davidson’s Saturday Night Live co-star Kenan Thompson has just revealed how he really feels about his friend’s relationship with Kim Kardashian – and we have to say, his comments kind of took us by surprise!
Speaking to Access Hollywood before hosting the 2021 People’s Choice Awards on Tuesday, December 7th, the 43-year-old Kenan and Kel star said: “I guess it happened kind of fast, but I don’t really know their business outside of what everybody else is reading, I guess.” He went on to say: “If they’re happy, I’m happy.”
That's not all the All That star had to say about his friend, as he also went on to speculate what the KKW Beauty founder might see in the 28-year-old comedian. "He’s a good dude, you know," Thompson began, before complimenting his friend on his talent as well as how grounded he has remained, despite his huge success on SNL. He didn’t mention what his other girlfriends – of which there have been many! – saw in him, because friends don't bring up other friends' exes; are we right? "He’s a talented boy, and I think he’s just very down-to-earth and grounded, and that’s very appealing to people," the Kenan star added. Aww!
And since we mentioned KKW Beauty, we’re intrigued to find out what will happen with Kim's cosmetics line, after US Weekly confirmed that the 41-year-old mom-of-four officially filed to become legally single on Friday, December 10th, and also requested to drop West from her name. (Ye isn’t the only one who gets to change his name, we guess!) We imagine that Pete must be pretty excited by her decision, but what will happen with KKW Beauty? Will Kim rebrand and change the name, or will that – like the last names of her and Kanye's four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, which we assume will not change from West – stay the same? Only time will tell!
