Piers Morgan is once again talking about one of his favorite topics – Adele! However, the 56-year-old British journalist has surprised everyone by actually coming to the singer’s defense for a change, and has taken aim at the people who criticized her following her controversial BRIT Awards acceptance speech! Allow us to go into more detail…

The 33-year-old “Easy On Me” singer’s acceptance speech for the ‘Best Artist’ accolade at the BRIT Awards on Tuesday, February 8th was heavily criticized on social media, because she said she “loved being a woman” when accepting the now genderless award. This is the first year that the awards ceremony decided to scrap the traditional Best Male Artist and Best Female Artist categories, in favor of one gender neutral category.

In her acceptance speech, Adele said: "I understand why the name of this award has changed but I really love being a woman and being a female artist. I do. I am really proud of us." And the former Good Morning Britain presenter had a few choice words for the people who took offense at what she said!

Morgan shared an article from The New York Times which mentioned the criticism surrounding Adele's "love being a woman" comment, and wrote: "FFS.. When people ask me, ‘what’s your new show going to be about?’, the answer is that, among other things, it’s going to be about me cancelling the woke imbeciles who think it’s OK to bully and terrorize women into denying their own existence." The Life Stories presenter's comment about his "new show" is in relation to his upcoming new talk show which is set to launch on FOX Nation, (as well as talkTV in the United Kingdom, and on Sky News Australia in Australia.)
