Piers Morgan’s Shocking Comments On The Queen’s Health: ‘Very Worrying Time For Britain’

Piers Morgan didn’t hold back when it came to commenting on The Queen’s health, saying it was a “worrying time for Britain” after it was revealed that the 95-year-old monarch had tested positive for COVID-19. Her Majesty received her diagnosis shortly after son Prince Charles and daughter-in-law Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, announced that they had also tested positive for the virus (she is believed to have been in contact with the Prince of Wales on February 8th, when he hosted an investiture at Windsor Castle) although a statement from the palace suggested that she was only experiencing very mild cold-like symptoms.
The 56-year-old former Good Morning Britain presenter took to Twitter on February 20th to comment on the situation, while also wishing The Queen a speedy recovery. Alongside a picture of The Queen smiling, Morgan wrote: “Wishing Her Majesty, The Queen a full & speedy recovery from COVID-19. Worrying for any 95-year-old person to catch this virus, and a very worrying time for Britain when it’s our Monarch. Good luck, Ma’am.”
