Weight loss is often about finding a balance between nutrition, exercise, and making mindful food choices. Cooking at home can be a great way to control ingredients, portion sizes, and overall health, but it’s not for everyone. If you find cooking to be a chore, don’t worry—there are plenty of healthy, ready-made meal options available.

Stores like Target offer a variety of nutritious, ready-to-eat meals that can support your weight loss goals without the hassle of meal prep.

Trent Harrison, a fitness coach, recently shared three “perfect” meals to opt for at Target if you don’t want to cook but are on a weight loss journey. According to him, Grilled Cajun-Style Chicken Breast Strips, Kevin’s Parmesan Basil Chicken, and Three Cheese Chicken Meatballs are some “great protein-packed” options. Read on to learn more.

1. Grilled Cajun-Style Chicken Breast Strips

This meal contains boneless, skinless chicken breast strips with Cajun-style seasoning and has no artificial preservatives.

It has 22 grams of protein for 120 calories, making it a high-protein, low-calorie option.

“Put this over a bed of rice; use it with potatoes [for] insane chicken flavor, “ Harrison raves.

2. Kevin’s Parmesan Basil Chicken

This gluten-free option mixes chicken breast strips with a creamy parmesan sauce along with broccoli and zucchini.

It has 34 grams of protein for 270 calories. “All you have to do is put this in a microwave for 5 minutes” for a quick, easy dinner, Harrison says.

3. Three Cheese Chicken Meatballs

If you’re a cheese fan, this meal is the perfect choice for you! Chicken breast is blended with mozzarella, Romano, and Asiago cheese along with garlic and onion for bold flavors. It’s also free from artificial flavors and MSG. It contains 20 grams of protein for 160 calories.

“Use this with a bed of rice or a side of broccoli. Add hot sauce, sweet chili sauce, or soy sauce to bring up the flavor,” he notes.
