Prince Albert of Monaco is speaking out about the Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s tell-all interview. While speaking to BBC World News, Prince Albert admitted that he thought the public interview was a mistake. However, he was not too harsh in his criticism.

Keep reading for more details.

Prince Albert explained that he believed that Meghan and Harry's "public display of dissatisfaction" was not exactly appropriate, admitting that it did "bother [him] a little bit."

During the interview, Prince Albert said that although he "can understand the pressure that they were under," he believed that "these types of conversations should be held within the intimate quarters of the family."

"It doesn't really have to be laid out in the public sphere like that," Prince Albert explained.

He continued, "It did bother me a little bit. I can understand where they're coming from in a certain way, but I think it wasn't the appropriate forum to be able to have these kinds of discussions."

Many Twitter users did not appreciate his commentary. One replied to the video, "The same family briefed against this couple for 4 years and sat back while they fight to hold on to their marriage. Take several seats."

Another wrote a more detailed list of critiques: "1. Calling mental health issues including suicide ideation and anxiety "dissatisfaction" is innacurate. 2. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry communicated their concerns directly to no avail. 3. The responses, including Prince Albert's tweet, show the family's lack of PR acumen."
