The former Prince Andrew has shocked the internet after being photographed in the back of a car with a massive bruise on his face.

The ex-prince, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, has been one of the most talked-about members of the royal family over the last six months, especially after he was arrested and investigated due to his ties to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. He recently made headlines after being photographed during a rare appearance outside his home on the Sandringham estate, where he had a large, discolored bruise on one side of his face. The photographs sparked a lot of online speculation and backlash, with some users beginning to wonder if he had gotten into a fight. Read more about it below.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Is Photographed With Bruising On His Face

It's certainly been an eventful year for the royal family, with updates on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the king's cancer treatment, Prince William and Kate Middleton's family, etc. However, one of the biggest incidents was arguably the arrest of the second-youngest of Queen Elizabeth II's children, the former Prince Andrew.

The 66-year-old was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office in February, after more evidence that he participated in the crimes and scandals of the late Jeffrey Epstein was shown in the latest release of the Epstein files. Since then, his life has been turned upside down, with his brother, King Charles, taking away his royal title as well as evicting him from his former home, Royal Lodge.

There haven't been many public appearances made by the father-of-two, but on June 4th, he was photographed in the back of a car, driving around his Marsh Farm home, which is located on the family's Sandringham estate. The new snaps of him made headlines as there was a large, red and purple bruise covering half of his face.

Social Media Reacts To The Photos Of Andrew & His Bruise

It didn't take long for the shocking pictures of the disgraced royal to go viral on various social media platforms, where many royal family fans and other pop culture enthusiasts alike couldn't get over them.

Since his arrest, there have been many reports and rumors coming out about the tensions between him and other family members, like his brother and his nephew, Prince William. Therefore, it was easy for some users to speculate that he had gotten into a fight with someone, as others wonder if he has some kind of health condition.

"Who punched him?" asked a user on Reddit.

"I like to think Anne clocked him," responded a user, as another added, "William is a lefty."

"How the mighty have fallen," commented a user. "I'll bet he's mortified at what his life has become."

"Why would he go out in public with that bruise?" a user asked. "Is he trying to garner sympathy? It isn't working."

"He's rotting from the inside out, which is expected," added another.
