Prince Charles’ Shocking Covid Announcement—And How The Queen Is Being ‘Monitored’
February 13, 2022 by Merrell Readman
Earlier this week, Prince Charles tested positive for Covid-19 for the second time, and now reports from the palace are revealing that the Queen is being heavily monitored to watch for symptoms and preserve her health. The Queen and her son Charles did recently come into contact, and sources close to the royal family say that frequent updates on the Queen’s health status will not be shared with the public despite concern.
In fact, palace doctors have refrained from revealing to the public if the Queen even tested positive with the illness, although it was said that the 95-year-old royal has not exhibited symptoms thus far. While the Queen has never fallen ill with Covid, her son, Prince Charles has now tested positive for the second time after initially catching the virus back in 2020.
The Queen and Charles were said to have seen each other two days before the 73-year-old tested positive for Covid when he visited Windsor Castle where his mother is currently residing. Both Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, who will be known as Queen Consort when her husband one day takes the throne, have been triple vaccinated, and it is unclear which symptoms Charles is currently exhibiting.
