Prince Charles Just Revealed This Heartbreaking Update About His Health Status--So Sad!

Prince Charles announced that he had Covid-19 back in late March of this year. He recovered successfully and recently opening up about what it was like being sick with the virus.

A common side effect of Covid-19 is the loss of taste and smell. At a recent outing to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with his wife Camilla, Charles told a healthcare worker that he too lost both senses. Moreover, he’s still in the process of getting them back.

Healthcare assistant Jeff Wall described the conversation with Prince Charles with The Daily Mail. "He [Prince Charles] did speak of his personal experience, so first-hand experience for him," said Wall, "He also spoke about his loss of smell and taste and, sort of, still felt he's still got it now."

Prince Charles was diagnosed with Covid-19 on March 25th. He suffered mild symptoms and was able to self isolate at home without complications. His wife, Camilla, never contracted the virus despite being in quarantine with Charles.

The Prince of Wales, as well as other senior members of the royal family, recently returned to in-person duties this month. Despite having recovered from the virus, he is still following social distancing practices when on official duties. Prince Charles is still primarily working from home doing video calls for important functions and meetings with limited in-person engagements for the near future.
