Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s professional separation has been grabbing headlines over the past few months, as many reports are hinting that it’s partly due to their marriage allegedly being in trouble too. And the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are seemingly all too aware of what the media has been saying about them!

Interestingly, Prince Harry broke the ‘never complain, never explain’ rule of his beloved grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, and actually addressed what the media has been saying about his marriage while speaking at The New York Times‘ DealBook Summit on Wednesday, December 4th. Prince Harry Addresses Separation Rumors At The 'New York Times' DealBook Summit

Prince Harry addressed the speculation that his professional separation with the former Suits actress is partly down to problems in their relationship while speaking with DealBook founder and New York Times writer Andrew Ross Sorkin.

Sorkin asked the Spare author: "There's articles left and right about, you know, 'Why are you doing independent events? Why aren't you doing them together?' Is that a good thing for you, in a way, that there's so much interest in you?"

Prince Harry confirmed that the constant media attention his marriage gets is "definitely not a good thing," and then quipped: "We've apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So, it's just like, what?"

Prince Harry Says He 'Feels Sorry' For The 'Trolls' Who Question His Marriage

He then went on to say that both he and the American Riviera Orchard founder try to ignore the negative comments, and even claimed that he felt "sorry" for the "trolls" who write untrue and hurtful things.

"It's hard to keep up with, but that's why you just sort of ignore it," the father-of-two said.

"The people I feel most sorry about are the trolls," he added. "Their hopes are just built and built... and then it doesn't happen. So, I feel sorry for them."
